Hesitating Best Fit For The All And All !
The book, “Black Like Me” was about a “White-Man”, that took lots of pills to change his skin pigment, and see what it was like to live in “Society” as a so called “Black-Man”. Security Stepped Up As German Theatre Breaks Taboo By Staging Satanic Verses

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

A German theater is to stage the world premiere of the controversial Salman Rushdie novel The Satanic Verses, breaking a long taboo and prompting fears of a backlash by local Muslims.

The Hans Otto theater in Potsdam, south-west of Berlin, is due to begin an eight-week run of the stage adaptation of the 1988 novel on Sunday, aiming, said its director, to expose it to a new audience.

Police authorities in the city said security at the theater and in Potsdam would be increased for fear of attacks by Muslim fundamentalists.

Muslims were offended by what they regarded as blasphemous references in the book, causing Iran to issue a fatwa calling on Muslims to kill the writer. (Read the full post about ‘Security Stepped Up As German Theatre Breaks Taboo By Staging Satanic Verses’…)

Hidden Secrets

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Secrets are hidden everywhere you don’t even want to know, at times. Secret to secret, secrets. I’ll more than keep it quite, if you do. Just how wise is she? Wiser than her years, but you know your even wiser, and mustn’t reveal yourself. I’ll take over where she leaves off. How will you ever take over anything F.B.I. ish, or B.F.I. ish, if you can’t keep a secret! We don’t keep any secrets around here. Were so open we can start the next war. Wars of words, may leave themselves materially weaponless, for decades even until that one secret breaks out.

Secrets can offer themselves to help stop wars as well. Secret against secret wars then can come to be yet still. (Read the full post about ‘Hidden Secrets’…)

Song/Poem: Sweety Red-Headed Faced Heart of a Fool !

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Wondering like never before, Oh Lord, Oh Lord! Your already there, where I need to be!

I of me and some of you too, can’t still but make me turn bluer than blue.

Where oh where, “Is my sweety of a red-headed faced fool” ?
The dream was there, the spot came too with faith, that offered the right time best!

Oh now oh Lord, I need the rest blessed, as my blue can’t come through best, without my red, and your white. Like the flag of the red, white and blue, that I call my own, still today anyways.

Full character can’t be in love complete, “Oh where, Oh where are you my, “Sweety Of A Red Headed Faced Fool” ? (Read the full post about ‘Song/Poem: Sweety Red-Headed Faced Heart of a Fool !’…)

Is the Compact for Long Term Care Right for Florida?

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

The New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section has proffered an alternative means of financing long term care that other states (especially Florida elder law attorneys) are watching very closely as it moves through the New York State legislature. Last year, Senate Bill S. 3530-C passed the Senate unanimously. Although the bill died at the end of the legislative session in June 2006, it has been reintroduced as S. 116 this year. A companion bill is expected to be introduced into the Assembly and, if a joint bill is approved, it would go to New York’s newly elected Democratic Governor Elliot Spitzer for signature. Lay In Wait !

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

It’s so very simple a child could do it, it can’t be said enough! People spend millions to gain office, or position, on people, places, and things.

They start disaster upon disaster. They over-load, even the same old same old. The one doesn’t wish to sit back and “Lay In Wait”.

The one, is a former P.O.W. ! The one, won and didn’t spend no where near as much as he was expected too! The one, saw the, “Lay In Wait” opportunity gone good.

Maybe this one, won’t win in some ways, “But who want’s to win loosing battles?” I’m not going to say his name, is John McCain, as this should go without saying. (Read the full post about ‘Lay In Wait !’…)

Thinking Baby Shower Gift? For Baby’s Sake, Think Organic. Think Phthalate-Free

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

I know it’s a mouthful…phthalates. In fact, it’s almost like the sound one makes when one sticks one’s tongue out to give someone a “New York Raspberry.” And isn’t that appropriate? Phthalates are nasty chemicals found in many popular baby shampoos, lotions and powders. That’s right. All those brands you see on your local drugstore shelf…those brands we’ve trusted for decades to be safe for our babies…contain phthalates. Shame on you Johnson & Johnson

You may have heard something about this mentioned briefly on nightly news, but it bears reiterating and highlighting. A new study reported in the Journal of Pediatrics found that 81% of the 163 infants they tested had measurable levels of phthalates in their urine.
