Babysitting & Nanny Jobs - Challenge for Family and Caregiver

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

It is a well-known social phenomenon that changing parental work patterns have transformed our all-family life over the past 30 years. One of the most dramatic changes is the increased rate of paid employment among mothers with children. According to published data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the overall maternal labor force rose from 38 to almost 70 percent during the last 30 years and for mothers with youngest children below the age of 3, this rate rose from 24 to 57 percent.

During this same period, the demand for non-parental child care increased dramatically, taking place in a variety of child care arrangements, including babysitters or nannies, family child care, care centers, au pair, family members, neighbors or friend child care arrangements, and other organized activities. Rest in Piece with New Baby Technology

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Anxiety can occur when babies are taken to a day care for the first time or even when a baby must be left alone in their room for a short period of time. To a few parents the answer is to keep the baby in question close to them at all times. The problem with this is that over parenting can sometimes stunt a baby’s psychological growth and sense of independence

A great middle ground is to invest in a baby monitor. These devices are easy to use, reliable, and in some cases extremely high tech. The traditional baby monitor that most adults are familiar with is similar to a walkie-talkie. The monitor placed in the infant’s room or location will relay sounds back to the other monitor so that the parent will know what their baby is doing without actually being in the room with them. Understanding Potential Career Assessments

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

As a parent concerned that our kids grow up and achieve success, we hear about career tests that will provide answers. Answers to the question: what should I be when I grow up? This question will likely take a great deal of time to answer, and test results will only be a part of this ‘knowing yourself’ process. I intend to use this article to provide ideas for you to think about when considering using any career test.

An important message to keep in mind is that ‘being a child or an adolescent’ parallels ‘constantly changing opinions and choices’. The answers that are chosen for test questions today will probably differ from those made on a date closer to adulthood. (Read the full post about ‘Understanding Potential Career Assessments’…)

Swirl Tables

Monday, May 26th, 2008

Swirl finish is anodized aluminium with randomly sanded swirls etched into the surface.

A swirl table is a table top finish that offers a durable, stain and scratch resistant alternative to linens. This unique table finish requires minimal maintenance, unlike table cloths, and makes it quick and easy to set it up and take it down. Swirl finish is an economical and smart choice for hotel and facility managers.

A clear powder coat finish protects the table. All top surfaces are .080″ thick with integral stiffener ribs and have a 1 1/2″ profile edge. End caps are heavy gauge and have high impact cast corner inserts which will absorb abuse from frequent set up and take down. (Read the full post about ‘Swirl Tables’…)

Sign of a Cheating Spouse : Why are they Arguing this Time?

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Every marriage contains its share of ups and downs. Let’s face it. Two people living under the same roof sharing and learning the most intimate details about each other often takes superhuman effort. Whether both personalities are strong or one is more dominant than the other is beside the point. Constant contact has the ability to create an environment that in one minute is love personified and in the next tension filled to the point of unbearable.

This means that more than likely there is a good “healthy” dosage of arguing with the relationship. Of course this can cover anything from mundane household chores, the current economic state of the family or who left the jelly out all night. No Hell, Than More Hell !

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

Hell gone good in grace, and Hell that holds no hope at all! Which Hell do you so bring to the table best? Hello to tomorrow, where Hell itself can say good-bye to some of it’s so called Hell.

Let Hell do for itself, and just leave it alone? Power not seen as fire in plain view of Earth alone? Higher heated and much more beautiful flames?

Where the dying of so called once isn’t even enough? Hell changing to meet the worst of our more than day to day standards of it? Why help Hell, one way or the other, until you can come to know it best, but of spirit to avoid the heat of the flame.

No aim needed when pain is of more torment than the worst of fire alone can afford. Steven King, dreams stories and speaks out perhaps in his dreams. (Read the full post about ‘No Hell, Than More Hell !’…)

Oh Go Natural !

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

Oh Go Natural !
Oh naked pig, dancing with the duck without feathers. Someone lost their appetite, just before the kill. The friendship must have came, oh so real, and with the dance as well ! The poses with the natural highs, and the mud is so alive, above mans greatest of idols. The scare of crow lyes in wait, for the wind to make, it’s escape into a more dead than alive but yet great parade to the duck and pig. Impose if you will, and dance with the flowers. Death knows not it’s years, for the duck, pig or scare of crow, least the crow flying in the strong wind as it rolls down the hill, in horizontal bliss of rolling hills dance. The child looks asunder, up yonder, as rolling hills wait, for it to join these natural highs. (Read the full post about ‘Oh Go Natural !’…)
