Rest in Piece with New Baby Technology
Wednesday, May 28th, 2008Anxiety can occur when babies are taken to a day care for the first time or even when a baby must be left alone in their room for a short period of time. To a few parents the answer is to keep the baby in question close to them at all times. The problem with this is that over parenting can sometimes stunt a babys psychological growth and sense of independence
A great middle ground is to invest in a baby monitor. These devices are easy to use, reliable, and in some cases extremely high tech. The traditional baby monitor that most adults are familiar with is similar to a walkie-talkie. The monitor placed in the infants room or location will relay sounds back to the other monitor so that the parent will know what their baby is doing without actually being in the room with them.
