Your Sport Style - SONY Sport Headphones Review
This month’s toy is something I used 15 times (each time I went for a run) - a set of Sony sport headphones. I’ve fallen in love with running with my iPod Shuffle (ah - the podcast revolution has finally caught up with me) but the stupid white trendy headphones that Apple supplies kept falling out of my ears. On a whim, I bought a pair of Sony sport headphones; they are simply awesome. I know I’m in headphone heaven if - after a two hour run - I’ve forgotten they are in my ears. If you are a serious runner or biker and you like to listen to music while you do your thing, you must try these.
Also, you need to consider the cable length, and anti-snagging systems that are available on some sports headphones models. The last thing you need while out running is for the cable to get tangled and damage the headphones or, worse still your music player. Ensure that the sports headphones padding will not get too soggy from perspiration and become uncomfortable to wear. Take a look at sports headphones that make use of noise cancelling technology, this is when the headphones block out ambient noise from outside. This can prolong your battery life because you don’t have to have the volume cranked up to the max, which can cause hearing damage over time.
As a result, one of the first accessories I purchased were nicer, more comfortable, more stable ear clip headphones. Even these never quite fit my ears right and tended to jiggle around. Perhaps I should have first looked at a pair of Sony sport headphones.
